We WIN!

I really enjoy sports, especially when my team is playing. I have never been shy about which team is mine. I am a Wolfpacker, that’s right a NC State fan. Now, for the most part I have gotten over my “obnoxious” stage and I try to be a “civil” fan. I try not to rub it in when we win and not to blame the referees or cheating by the opponent when we lose. But, I do love it when we win, especially against our big rivals. And even more special when we haven’t beaten them in several tries. It feels a whole lot better when they have to face me and acknowledge our victory. It’s not that I feel better than them, it’s more than that. It’s like they have to admit that my team is better, or at least it was on that day. That may be the kind of feeling we Christians have on That Day. We go through life and struggles, persecutions, tribulations, tests, and hard times come our way and it looks like evil is winning. Team Evil gets another victory. If you don’t believe me pick up the newspaper or turn on your television to the news. It sure looks like evil is winning. In fact, it looks like it may be a blow out! Be reminded though that evil does not win. God wins! And as people of God, we win. I love being reminded of that. I love reading verses like Revelation 1:7 which says,”Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him.” And verse 8 says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End….”. In other words what may look like a victory by the enemy is just another step in our journey towards That Day when ALL will see and acknowledge Him! Oh what a day that will be! Blessings
