Being Different

As most of you know I am a Wolfpacker, an NC State fan. A few years ago a friend invited me to a game against our main rival, at their place. My friend asked me if I was going to wear my State red and white. I told him I was. I wanted to make sure that people knew that I was a State fan no matter the venue. Even if every other person there was pulling for the other team, I was pulling for the Pack. I was proud for people to know that I was different! I wanted them to be able to look at me and tell that there was something different about me. When I read Exodus 34, I am reminded of how we Christians should be a bit different from worldly people or non-Christians. Like Moses, when we walk into a room or a situation people should be able to spot us. We should stand out because we have been changed due to being in the presence of God. I’m not talking about trying to appear super holy or super spiritual. I’m talking about living a daily lifestyle that just exudes God; people just notice that there is something different about us and want to know what it is. Will you join me in praying for God to give us the courage to be different and to stand out for Him today? Blessings
