After going through all of our student photos, I realized I had some earlier photos of some of the students and thought it might be fun to share some of those old photos next to the new one so we can see some of the changes. Disclaimer: Some of the early photos were taken by someone else but there was no name attached to the files so I don’t know who to give credit to.
This is a photo I used on my prayer cards and many people commented on the young girl holding my hand as we walked. Her name is Agape and she and Lydia (between Doug and Frank) are both in our Standard II class this year. Below Lydia is on the left and Agape is on the right.
I have constantly talked about Haji. While he has not grown as much as the two girls above he definitely looks different with his big smiles. On the left is the photo I took as he walked quietly with me never talking, never smiling before joining our school. He is currently in Standard III and always smiling.
Next is Teresia: on the left when teams from NC visited before we even started working on a school. On the right Teresia is now a top student in Standard V
Below is Pastor Stephano Mollel and his wife Yustina. Their newborns in the following photo are fraternal twins Obed and Gladness who are top students in our Standard V class pictured below.
To the left is Stella and the wild hair belongs to Agnes. Both are currently Standard III. Agnes still has wild hair occasionally.
Then there is Grace. The one on the left is her before the school was started. The middle picture was from my first months and the school just getting started where her personality is on display and the one on the right is current from Standard V.
